Many Kiwanis clubs have weekly meetings, but we find this schedule to be infeasible for our membership. Furthermore, we want to devote the bulk of our Kiwanis experience to hands-on service, so we meet officially only once each month, on the third Tuesday of the month, as a club. That doesn't mean we are inactive. We communicate through email, exchange ideas in committee meetings, and show up at community service projects. In addition, we normally eat and socialize after each service project. An active member would participate in Kiwanis-related activities at least 4-5 times a month.
