| Key to Your Future Day 2011

Key to Your Future Day, the Young Professionals signature event, was a huge success! Working with our Circle K’ers, we spent the day
teaching workshops on college essays, business etiquette, financial literacy and more to dozens of Key Clubbers from around our district.
With over 40 attendees, we hope to make a big difference on the leaders and future Kiwanians of tomorrow!

| NYC Marathon Volunteer Water Station

3rd Mile Marker Water Station, 81st street and 4th Avenue Brooklyn
The Kiwanis Club of NYCYP manned the first water station along the
marathon route to help hydrate and cheer on 50,000 thirsty runners!
Members set up tables and cups, handed out water, cleaned up while
having front row seats to the marathon. |

| Walk to End Alzheimer's

Incoming board member Nicole teamed up with others to raise money and support at the 2011 Walk to End Alzheimer's in Riverside Park, to honor her grandmother,

| Little Sisters of the Assumption Kickball

Central Park - East 86th Street
Kiwanians partnered with the volunteers from the Little Sisters of the Assumption to sponsor a kickball game for youth members of the after school program.
It was a beautiful summer-like evening in Central Park. Kids and adults alike enjoyed snacks and then an eventful game of kickball that of course ended in a tie. |

| Costco Sugar Rush for Soldier's Angels

Play ball! Kiwanians and friends enjoyed a beautiful night of fun watching the New York Mets beat the Florida Marlins (of course they made it close
in the 9th inning). It was a night of baseball, socializing, food and drinks while taking in the amazing atmosphere at the new Citi Field.

| 2nd Annual New York Harbor Cruise

New York Skyport Marina (23rd Street at the FDR Drive)
Thirty-two (32) fellow Kiwanians, family and friends set sail for
a beautiful night aboard the Majestic Princess. We all enjoyed music,
drinks, and food, among the company of friends, while taking in
the breathtaking views of the city along the East River. Of course
a NYC Harbor Cruise would not have been complete without a stop
by Lady Liberty.

Club of Staten Island Bowl-A-Thon

Over sixty-six Kiwanians, family and friends joined together for
a day of fun and support to raise money for the Kiwanis Club of
Staten Island 1st Annual Bowl-A-Thon. The day included bowling,
pizza, raffles, and socializing with fellow Kiwanians. Over $5,600
was collected for their club's High School Key Club Memorial Scholarship
Fund.
