Annual Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Center (KPTC) Golf Outing to be held this year at the Cedarbrook Country Club in Old Brookville, NY. The cost is $210 per player for the full day which includes a barbeque lunch, refreshments, snacks, and fruit on the course, a cocktail reception and dinner. The schedule is as follows: 11AM-12:30PM lunch; 1PM shotgun start; 5PM-6PM cocktail hour; 6PM-8PM dinner. For only $100, one can still support KPTC by attending the cocktail hour and dinner only. Lockers and showers will be available, and gifts/raffles, etc. will be part of the activity as well. All proceeds to benefit the KPTC at North Shore University Hospital.

Islip and Bay Shore Kiwanis Charity Event at Awixa Castle

The Kiwanis Club of the Islips and Bay Shore Foundation will be hosting a charity party at The Awixa Castle (www.awixacastle.com/party.html) in honor of Kiwanian Joe Weiss's 60th birthday. Tickets are $50 in advance ($60 at the door), and "includes all food, spirits, dancing, and fun!" All of the proceeds go towards multiple charitable organizations including Kamp Kiwanis, the Islip Food Pantry, scholarships to 3 local high schools, maintaining an emergency fund for families with same day needs, as well as providing coats and toys and food to kids in need.
